W00T! I'm getting all these old ideas used! Many more to come, I assure you!
Last.. fall was it? We'll say it was. Last fall I was on the schoolbus going home and listening to one of my They Might Be Giants CDs (Mink Car. Go buy it. *plugplug*) when Cyclops Rock came on. The line "Chucky's arm keeps me company" made me chucke when the thought of Legato fawning over his.. Vash's.. the arm came to mind. "All the children run away from me" didn't exactly help. So the idea was born and I was fully capable of creating this video last year. I just never did. Kept forgetting to ask Matt (pester more like.. such a good sport) if I could borrow the DVDs. So last Monday (this is what? Friday now?) I asked and on Tuesday he delivered. Some trouble with the black DVD player so I brought the silver one back from its prolonged exile and sure enough it worked. One or the other, I swear. Captured a bunch, but I regretted telling him "oh, no.. I don't need this DVD." for the clip of Vash bashing the kid on the train down with his head. Stupid 2-part episode thing. Got started right away which was the real kicker. Wednsday the DVDs were exchanged and I did nothing. I think I slept or something. But this past night! Oh boy did I work hard! I finished that sucker! *does a happy dance* I had a bad scare with the clean up. I'll tell ya. I saw my computer's life flashing before my eyes 'cause it was gonna dah. A horrible, wirey, electronic death. Thankfully I followed that little voice in my head that kept shouting "It's gonna mess up! Save it as a separate file! Go on!! DO IT!!"

So what'd you think of the nifty scrolling credits, eh? And yeah.. the video isn't really supposed to have a point. Or a consistant theme. But it sure was fun to make. Fun to watch! (But mostly because I can say "LOOKY-LOOKY! IZ DONE! IZ DONE!") The old lady with the laundry on her head lipsynched at one point by the way. But you can't tell because of Legato. Stupid Legato. And his video. Which has a lot of him in it because it was kinda based around him. Man I hope E's happy. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Sonic Foundary Video Factory 2.0, They Might Be Giants, Matt, Philo DVD player, ATI All-In-Wonder video card. Mmm.. yeah. I'd say that takes care of all the software/hardware/people I used. Thanks!
